Considering the paintings of Orkun Boragan, one can easily notice the fact that he raises many questions to those glancing at his workings. The difference between creating and painting makes itself exhibited at the time of getting involved with the painting. The uneasiness’s inside the artist, his ties between the individual and society, the reflection of these to the societal life, we can get to a synthesis through internalising the discrepancies emerging by the time. In his works, he proceeds from the thought of ‘inexperienced lives’ as his initial point. He strives to describe beyond the day after tomorrow of the missing dreams of people before their eyes; hopes, expectations so far from realising and wishes seemingly impossible to be accommodated. In his paintings, the thought has become distinguished that ‘the art is unique to, for and made by human’.
It is not incumbent on art to put its elements such as composition, form, style, colour and aesthetic more effective than on one another.
It is based upon the view to consider the painting as a whole and to reflect the impressions of this completeness’ entirely. The art does not belong to a person, a region and or a country.
It underlines the fact that imaginations and dreams create a basement to the reality; the fusion of these ones with thought is to be a first step to the reality. The reality exhibits itself in the painting through the concretisation of these abstract happenings.Where the imaginative and real ones start from and end up in are situated with inside the line of the infiniteness.
Within the course of the creation, Orkun Boragan attaches himself to the view to place human to the front of the life and puts democratic elements right into the centre of the administration.
Besides the over-contradiction and over-inconsistency of the term ‘aesthetic’; that is the one to protect and defend dialectic idea, that the kinesis within the context of the Hegelian’s Semiotic Spirit nurtures the philosophy, that such inclinations get anchored in
the nature of philosophy during the release of its truth function, that the ‘spirit’ is claimed to be a component of the Evolution at the same time.
He mounts his paintings – inspired by the thought recreating itself reiteratedly – proceeding from this great, abstract and endless point of view. He encounters the objectivity of the biotic world with the depth of thought established on a sceptical, critical, and scientific and critic approach.
By internalising the biotical world on the ideal dimension of organism, he objectivises – within his drawings – the ‘’abstract design’’ through the pictorial features, line, colour, form, style and images for the rearrangement of everything pertaining to life via mental designs.
The in-depth and in-width evaluation of the surface is the abstractedly dissemination of third dimension. As the reflection of deeds gained and improved within the scope of his own vital activities, the artist enhances a secondary vital activity.
The creation of the new idea and meanings through perception of the notifications presented in an artistic composition, the researching of brand new potentials are related to new value guidance. Human being is able to transform his conscience within the realm of his own structure.
In his works, one can see the self-components of the entireness within. The entireness composed out of these components can also be observed. That teaches us view holistically. It is the term of new world realised on the basis of the abstractedness of the material and tempus; the abstract cosmos. His aim is to draw the design of abstract and relate the abstract – proceeding from pure energy – by generating new arrangements through microbiologic forms.
